If price is the barrier

In season and bought direct, organic is often close to the same money. Out of season and bought in a supermarket is where the eye-watering premiums live. Seconds, bulk boxes and whole-animal splits are cheaper again — and several producers here run sliding scale or koha boxes, which you have to ask about because they do not advertise them. Why we don’t run a checkout

A marketplace would take a cut of every sale and put us between the producer and the person eating the food — which is the one relationship this whole platform exists to shorten. So we link out, every time, even when that means you leave.
